Just because students know how to download music and chat online does not mean they know how to effectively use computers. One of the challenges facing administrators is assessing student technology literacy.
The K to the 8th Power Technology Literacy Assessment has been designed to help teachers and administrators measure and document student progress toward the goal of technology literacy.
The four part, 100 question assessment is intended for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and is aligned to Standards 1 through 6 of the ISTE 2007 NETS for Students
Upon completion of each part of the Kto8 Technology Literacy Assessment a correlation report is updated to show student progress and recommend Kto8 lessons to help in area of weakness.
